“If you’re buying from me and we’re making a custom piece,” says David, “absolutely not.”
In the short video below, he goes on to explain that he uses CAD software for all of his bespoke jewellery designs and keeps each one on file for future reference.
“So all we have to do is go back to that CAD file, we’re going to make a nesting band.”
“We can make a wedding jacket if you want,” he adds. “I love doing wedding jackets. Not enough people want to do them, but I love them.”
On the other hand, if you are buying a pre-made set “off the shelf”, David advises that you do buy them at the same time because you can’t be completely sure that you’re going to be able to find the matching band again at a later date.
